How do I connect my E-Ink case to my phone?
Simply attach it to your phone to connect. (Enable NFC on your phone by navigating to Settings > General > NFC > Turn NFC On.) The connection will be established automatically using NFC technology.
Is the xCool E-Ink case battery-powered?
No. The xCool E-Ink case only consumes a small amount of power from the phone when switching images. Once the image projection is complete, no power is needed to maintain the image. Therefore, the case itself does not require a battery or charging.
Is the E-Ink phone case durable and drop-resistant?
Yes, our E-Ink phone case is engineered to withstand daily wear and tear. Before leaving the factory, it undergoes rigorous testing, including over 1000 drops from a height of 3 feet, ensuring durability for everyday use.
Can I use the xCool E-Ink case in all weather conditions?
The xCool case is built for durability and is resistant to splashes and light rain. But it's not fully waterproof. Please do not immerse it in water or use it in extreme weather conditions. The recommended operating temp. ranges from 8°F to 162°F.
Will the image on the xCool E-Ink case fade over time?
The smart ink technology is engineered to be durable and resistant to fading, ensuring that your images stay clear and vibrant with regular use.
How often can I change the image of my case?
You can change the image as frequently as you desire! There are no restrictions on how many times you can update your case's display.
Is the phone case compatible with magnetic wireless charging?
Sorry, it does not currently support magnetic wireless charging. It only supports regular wireless charging and does not interfere with Apple Pay usage.
Does the xCool E-Ink case drain the phone battery?
No, the xCool E-Ink case only uses a small amount of power when changing images. Once the image is updated, the smart ink screen holds it indefinitely without needing continuous power.
