1% for the Planet is a leading global nonprofit, building a movement of businesses delivering philanthropic support to environmental organizations working on the front lines for our Planet. It assists nonprofit organizations that protect land, forests, rivers, and oceans and encourage sustainable methods of energy production.
Beyond Traditional Environmentalism
From the beginning, Cool Gadget has identified "Sustainable" as a product category to find, test, and sell products that are kinder to the environment. They could be hats from discarded fishing nets, backpacks from discarded plastic bottles, or even timeless pencils designed to reduce tree felling.
